Bar - Smiley's Schooner Saloon This older bar in West Marin was completely refinished in 1979 with my partner when we were Antique Refinishing. Stripped, sanded and sealed thoughout. We replaced the color and layered multiple coats of wear resistant varnish. No additional upkeep to the finish has been applied since.

Custom House 11 Wolf Back Ridge These wall panels and beams previously had a gray textured paint with deep grain penetration. There were also many patches, deep gouges and holes throughout. A blend of old and new redwood. The challenge was to provide custom uniformity of color with enhanced grain presentation to the walls, beams, trim and entranceway. Antique Chinese Furniture A recent project that we worked on included some antique Chinese furniture that was completely re-glued and refinished. We hand stripped all the pieces then re-colored them with custom stains and and finished them with custom varnish.
